My name is Bekira and I originally came from Bosnia. I moved to the U.S. and have lived in Minnesota for eight years. My first job in the U.S. was in 1999 at St. Anthony Health Care Center, another property owned by The Goodman Group, where I was trained in housekeeping.

I have been at Chandler Place for six years where I am currently the Director of Housekeeping. I love the work I do here and I also enjoy all the residents. The residents are why I work in senior living – they make each of my working days special.

I have two staff members who work in housekeeping with me, and together we are a great team. We take pride in making Chandler Place a clean environment for the residents to be proud of. My co-workers make my job very comfortable and it is a delight to work with such a great team.
