I graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis with a major in Music Education and Theater Arts. After college I was hired by the Minneapolis Public School System to teach elementary and high school vocal music. I taught for 7 years in Minneapolis and then went on to explore other areas of interest.

After 5 years of working in a variety of jobs, I stumbled upon a job in the field of Therapeutic Recreation/Life Enrichment. The rest is history. This is my 15th year in this profession. I love what I do as it allows me to continue to use my background in education and music.

My goal as the Life Enrichment Director is to create a well-rounded program with educational, physical, social, community and spiritual opportunities for the senior residents to participate in. I am thrilled to be working at Chandler Place and will do my part in continuing to make it a vital, friendly and fun community to live in!
